Skydiving World Champion Mindset # Two
Sky surfing Pioneer Challenges
Extraordinary Man Giles Fabris
Giles was a British National Skydiving Champion and a record holder in the Guinness World Book of Records for skydiving. one of the pioneers of sky surfing – type of skydiving in which the skydiver wears a board attached to their feet and performs surfing-style aerobatics during free-fall of a minute. Can you imagine that? Some of us think surfing or skate boarding is hard enough. He surfs in the air 13000 ft. altitude, with no protection attached. “Crazy!” you say? Well, somebody had to do it and Giles was one of the crazy people to establish sky surfing in Europe. It requires complete focus and creativity, even though very scary. Amazing he only had one skydiving malfunction incident over his seven thousands jumps. I say he was very in tune with Universal energy and perfectly aligned with Nature’s Power.
Unlike Giles, I skydived only 3 times. Two jumps were in the late 70’s. I jumped a static line with round canopy. On my first jump, I completely missed the target and landed on a big flat rock. Thanks to my background in Judo, I took a painless fall. I jumped again the same day and I missed my target again. I jumped with a square parachute for the third time in 1990. It was very different. I still love heights and a sense of free falling.
Have you skydived before? Do you think about it to help you overcome your fear of heights or just for fun? Do it, now!
