Skydiving World Champion Mindset # Fourth
Extraordinary man Giles Fabris
Giles Fabris was a British National Skydiving Champion and a record holder in the Guinness World Book of Records for skydiving.
Giles only had one skydiving malfunction incident over 7,000 parachute jumps.
Parachuting from an airplane 10 to 20 times a day, jumping with a team 40 to 50 people takes a lot of energy, concentration, dedication and determination. There’s no other sport like sky surfing. One simple mistake could cost you your own or other people’s lives. Decisiveness is a major requirement.
So was he fortunate? Was he lucky? Yes, he was both. And it shows how he focused and disciplined his mind for 15 years during his skydiving carrier. Giles was like a rock star of professional skydiving, traveling all over the world and enjoying his star status. I believe the universe handed him a lucky charm when he was able to put his fear aside and make his first jump to help raise funds for adult Down syndrome organization in England. And the rest of the story is he became a World Champion Skydiver and made it to the Guinness World Book of Records.
And one day his skydiving carrier came to an end as a result of a car accident during which he sustained a broken neck. He went through many challenges, lived through the accident and recovered well. He already had a great mindset to begin with. What a story?! Giles still loves adventure and he’s still a fearless person. His injury has not stopped him from enjoying other sports, like snowboarding.
Could he compel you to change your life story? Are you ready for a change?
