Emei Qigong Grandmaster Fu Wei Zhong Is Back In San Diego
Grandmaster Fu’s powerful life force energy
Emei qigong grandmaster Fu Wei Zhong is back in San Diego from China for a few workshops. Grandmaster Fu comes to San Diego once a year in the spring time, it is always wonderful to have him back. These days he comes to teach the advanced higher-level workshops only, unless there’s no trained Emei qigong instructor available in some of the other parts of the US, then he teaches other classes as well. After all, he has been teaching for about 50 years now and he is ready to retire. Is he really that old? Well, Grandmaster Fu has been practicing and training in Chinese medicine since he was 12 years old. He wants to hand down his knowledge to people who are serious about Emei qigong and will learn and carry the knowledge on to the next lineage. Grandmaster Fu is the 13th Lineage Holder of Emei qigong. We are the 14th lineage students.
Mission Bay was not exactly sunny on Sunday morning. Very breezy and cold, yet it felt great! I was not the only one who felt Grandmaster Fu’s powerful life force energy (qi, chi, ki) during Emei qigong practice. What a difference his presence makes! Grandmaster Fu has few characters and he waived and he flashed me a “Peace” sign when he saw me walk up to him with my Flip video camera. Few people saw it and giggled. It is something we did not expect from a well-known Chinese Medical Buddha. In China, he often lives in a secluded mountain for months on end and goes down to the big city once in a while. First thing he asked me “Camera?” I said “ No! It is a video”. He is a very curious and brilliant man who likes to keep up with the current times. Join us for next Sunday morning Emei qigong with grandmaster Fu!
