Knuckle Princes Eri Yoshida Drafted First Female Baseball Player In Japan At 16 years old High school girl April 2009 Eri Yoshida was drafted by Kobe 9 Cruse team. She was a first female baseball player in Japanese history to be drafted. At 155 centimeter tall and 56 kilograms, Eri was only a 16 year old high school student. Her dream was to be just like Boston Red Sox’ pitcher and knuckle ball thrower Tim Wakefield . If she can be just like Tim Wakefield she can hold down boys by knuckle ball throws.
